Hanoi hospital puts three European-standard operating rooms into use
In August 2018, the Hanoi People`s Committee approved to build three more modern surgery rooms in accordance with European standards including one Hybrid operating room, one gastrointestinal endoscopy surgery room and one for orthopedic arthroscopy operation.
Thanh Nhan Hospital in Hanoi city on October 6 inaugurated three European-standard operating rooms, local media reported.

Speaking at the ceremony, Dr. Dao Quang Minh, director of Thanh Nhan Hospital, said that the project of upgrading Thanh Nhan Hospital was approved and commenced in 2014 with a total investment of VND665.66 billion (US$28.623 million).
In August 2018, the Hanoi People's Committee approved to build three more modern surgery rooms in accordance with European standards including one Hybrid operating room, one gastrointestinal endoscopy surgery room and one for orthopedic arthroscopy operation, Minh added.
He noted that Hybrid surgery room has the most modern operating design, with advanced imaging facilities to reduce the time needed for surgery procedure and bring the best surgical effect for patients suffering from cardiovascular, neurological, extra hepatic bile, urinary, and musculoskeletal diseases.
It is the first Hybrid operating room in the country to be equipped with an Integrated Operating Room and an ARTIS Pheno system containing the most advanced robotic arm, the director stressed.
Speaking at the inauguration, Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Duc Chung said Thanh Nhan Hospital is one of the city’s spearhead medical facilities, thus, the hospital will invest and apply advanced technologies and medical equipment.
