Most enterprises are willing to boost production amid the spread of the coronavirus epidemic.

Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam has warned drug stores to refrain from hiking prices of face masks or see their licenses revoked.

Two people owning these face masks said they bought face masks in large quantities in southern provinces with the purpose of exporting to China to gain profit.

In two border gates of Huu Nghi and Chi Mai in Lang Son province, over 4.2 millions of medical face masks were exported to China from January 29 – February 3.

This was not the first time that Vietnamese authority detained people hoarding face masks in large quantities for illegally export to China.
