The Vietnamese government is committed to preparing all necessary conditions to meet demands of multinationals, stressed Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The main objective of the task force is to approach potential investors looking for new destinations and support those that are having difficulties during their operations in Vietnam.

In contrast to a wide range of investment incentives for multinationals, investment procedures for local enterprises, especially small and medium ones, remain complicated.

Hanoi holds numerous advantages in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), but the important issue would not be the quantity, but the quality of investment.

Hanoi would take this crisis as an opportunity to reshuffle economic activities and attract investment from multinationals, said a city leader.
