Vietnam will temporarily stop granting tourist visas for Chinese of nCoV-infected territories, except urgent cases.

The city's leader requires the health sector to be well-prepared for the worse situation.

Over the past 10 days, Vietnam has recorded 98 suspected cases with signs of fever and cough, all from China’s virus-stricken areas or having contacted with the infected.

Vietnamese high-ranking officials said though the country has not closed the border with China, it has been taking measures of equivalent seriousness.

The epidemic has not left major impacts on bilateral trade relations, said the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
