Nowadays, Hanoi's leaders always attach importance to promoting Thang Long’s traditions and make Hanoi increasingly wealthy, beautiful and civilized.

2020 marks 10 years that the Imperial Citadel of Thang Long-Hanoi received recognition as a world cultural heritage by UNESCO.

Since the meaningful historical relics were unveiled, the entire ruins of the Thang Long Imperial Citadel have been well preserved and introduced to the public.

The excavation under the National Assembly's underground house carried out in 2008 - 2009 by the Institute of Archeology has discovered 140 relics and thousands of artifacts from different periods.

A cultural display will be held at Thang Long Imperial Citadel from February 4 (or the 23rd day of the 12th month in the Lunar Calendar) to March 1.
