Vietnam largest hospital removed lockdown after two weeks

The hospital will maintain lockdown-like operations until the end of April.

Bach Mai Hospital, the largest hospital in Vietnam, was removed out of lockdown on April 12 after two weeks.

According to the Ministry of Health, more than 40 Covid-19 patients are linked to Bach Mai Hospital.

During the lockdown, Bach Mai Hospital continued offering treatment to more than 500 end-stage renal disease (ESRD) patients and 200 patients in critical condition.

 The hospital and more than 500 medical workers were placed under lockdown on March 28 after several people, incuding medical workers, patients, and staff were detected positive for SARS-CoV-2. Photo: Zing
