Cuba and Vietnam strengthen diplomatic ties with official visit

Cuban Foreign Affairs Minister Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla will pay an official visit to Vietnam from February 18-20, at the invitation of Vietnamese Foreign Affairs Minister Bui Thanh Son. Vietnam and Cuba have maintained strong ties since 1960, with   high-level exchanges and mutual support. This visit reaffirms their enduring friendship and commitment to advancing socialist goals and economic development.  

Vietnam and China boost judicial cooperation

Vietnam and China stepped up judicial cooperation during a visit to Beijing (February 17-18) by Vietnam's Chief Prosecutor Nguyen Huy Tien. The two sides pledged to deepen cooperation in criminal justice, prosecutor training, and transnational crime prevention, strengthening ties under the bilateral and ASEAN-China frameworks.

Danang opens US$250 million industrial park

Danang has launched the Hoa Ninh Industrial Park project in Hoa Vang District, covering 400 hectares with an investment of US$250 million. With 6 industrial parks covering more than 2,300 hectares, 88% occupied and 4 fully leased, Danang authorities planned this new development for high-tech and eco-friendly industries, further strengthening Danang's role as a key industrial and economic hub in central Vietnam.

Vietnam's top-rated hotels receive global recognition

Capella Hanoi and Four Seasons Resort The Nam Hai (Danang) have been named among the world's top five-star hotels in Forbes Travel Guide's 2025 Star Awards. Four other hotels, including Park Hyatt Saigon and Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi, received four-star ratings, highlighting Vietnam's growing profile in luxury hospitality.

Tan Cang-Cai Mep boosts global trade with Premier Alliance vessel

Tan Cang-Cai Mep International Terminal (TCIT) welcomed its first Premier Alliance vessel, the 14,000 TEU ONE EAGLE, on February 18. This marks Premier's strategic commitment to TCIT following its restructuring. The new EC3 service, along with PS3, FP2 and MS2, are key shipping services that enhance direct connectivity between Vietnam and North America, Europe and other global trade lanes. These services are part of Premier Alliance's broader plan to enhance international trade and logistics efficiencies post-restructuring.

Bac Ninh improves connectivity with new electric bus line

Bac Ninh will launch a new electric bus route connecting Bac Ninh Bus Station to Noi Bai Airport, with 64 daily trips. The 32-km route supports green energy transition goals, enhances regional connectivity, and aims to improve public transportation, benefiting both Bac Ninh and Hanoi's economic and social development.
