Accelerate Hanoi's infrastructure development by maximizing resources
Hanoi is pushing ahead with a major plan to mobilize and effectively utilize resources for infrastructure development.
Under the direction of Duong Duc Tuan, Deputy Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, the city on February 7 rolled out a comprehensive strategy to modernize infrastructure in line with national development goals set by the central government.

The plan aims to raise awareness among city agencies and officials, emphasizing responsibility and exemplary execution of infrastructure projects. It specifically defines tasks, assigns responsibilities to relevant departments, and ensures effective implementation.
Key priorities include the management and utilization of major transportation projects such as Belt Road 4, Belt Road 2 from Nga Tu So to Cau Giay, Belt Road 3.5, and National Highway 6. The city will review and refine policies, mobilize and optimize financial resources, and align infrastructure growth with national and regional economic strategies while ensuring environmental sustainability.
Hanoi authorities are tasked with translating this plan into annual action plans, explicitly assigning responsibilities, and ensuring effective oversight. The city emphasizes the urgency of these initiatives, calling for determined and persistent implementation while building on past experiences and achievements.
