Hanoi focuses on creating favorable conditions for foreign investors to invest in projects in fields of high technology, clean energy, high quality services through forms of FDI, PPP and social resources.

On September 22, the Hanoi Department of Industry & Trade has cooperated with the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA) to jointly organize the Conference connecting supply – demand between Hanoi and other provinces in 2017.

This was not the first time that Vietnamese authority detained people hoarding face masks in large quantities for illegally export to China.

From May 30 – June 6, Hanoi will hold Fruits – Farm Produce Week with specialties from around 17 provinces and cites across Vietnam.

In 2020, Hanoi targets to attract over US$5 billion in FDI, while investment promotion activities would focus on new markets, particularly member countries of the CPTPP and the EVFTA.
