Hanoi: Final section of ring road 1 expected to be completed soon
The 2.274-kilometer route running parallel to De La Thanh street is expected to be completed by lated 2020.
Two overpasses on Hoang Cau – Voi Phuc section of Ring Road No.1, one of the costliest roads in Hanoi, will be built at the end of 2020 to accelerate the completion of this arterial road, local media reported.
Ring Road No.1 is being built as part of efforts to ease Hanoi’s traffic congestion with total investment of nearly VND7.8 trillion (US$346 million) coming from Hanoi's budget and other sources.
Site clearance and resettlement costs VND6.4 trillion (US$284.4 million), with more than 2,000 households affected.
The 2.274-kilometer route running parallel to De La Thanh street is expected to occupy nearly 160,000 square meters of land, including 83,000 sq.m of residential land, 16,000 sq.m of land for offices, and nearly 54,000 sq.m of the existing roads.

On average, every meter of the road is invested with up to VND3.5 billion (US$1.5 million). |
