Hanoi fosters cooperation with Vientiane
The traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between Hanoi and Vientiane have continuously developed over the years.
Hanoi always seeks to foster cooperation with Vientiane, Laos’ capital city, said Ngo Thi Thanh Hang, member of the Party Central Committee and Permanent Deputy Secretary of the municipal Party's Committee at a reception for Head of the Vientiane Propaganda Department Khemphet Phengduongchan on November 26.

Hang emphasized that the traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation between the two sides have continuously developed over the years. Hanoi and Vientiane, as well as some provinces and cities of Laos have established full collaborative ties.
She affirmed that the close and effective cooperation between Hanoi and Vientiane is always vivid proof of the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
Hang believes that during this working trip, both sides will discuss a lot of content and experiences in a practical and effective manner.
For his part, Khemphet Phengduongchan agreed to deepen the discussions, thereby further strengthening cooperation between the two sides.
He also expressed his desire that the Hanoi government will keep supporting and creating conditions for the two capitals to exchange activities and experience.
Lao leader hopes for stronger Vientiane-Hanoi cooperation
Lao Deputy Prime Minister Somsavat Lengsavath has said he hopes that the capital cities of Laos and Vietnam will continue to strengthen and tighten their traditional friendship and cooperation.
