Overview of new eight-lane road in Nam Tu Liem district
According to a municipal official, completing the eight-lane road project will help reduce traffic congestion on National Highway 32.
The upgraded and expanded section of Tran Huu Duc street is 1.3km in length. The upgrading works included asphalting the road, paving the sidewalk, improving the sewage and installing the lightning system.

The works kicked off in October 2016 and completed in April 2019 with a total investment of VND264 billion (US$11.3 million).

The road is 50 meters in width including 30 meters for 8 lanes, 4 meters for median strip and 8 meters for two pavements.

After nearly two months of opening to traffic, the trees along the payments have flourished and bloomed.

LED lighting technology along the payments and the median strip helps save electricity but still ensures enough light for commuters.
|
In some sections of sidewalks, grasses are overgrown and a path for disabilities is fully covered by weed.
