There will be no difference in the required minimum amount of capital for airlines providing international and domestic air transport services.

Before the nCoV outbreak, three Vietnamese airlines namely Vietnam Airlines, Jetstar Pacific and VietJet operated 87 regular and charter flight routes to 54 destinations in China with a total of 401 flights per week.

Local airlines could see a decline in revenue of up to VND65 trillion (US$2.7billion) due to the pandemic, much higher than an earlier estimate of VND30 trillion (US$1.27 billion).
