The Vietnamese government has required that people wear face masks at crowded public places like airports, bus stations, and supermarkets, since March 14.

Stiffer fines will be given to people defying face mask rules in public areas, including hospitals, parking lots, public areas, wet markets, supermarkets and shopping malls.
