Vietnam brought citizens home from Germany, Spain, Switzerland, and the US - the world's hotspots of coronavirus outbreaks.

Since April 16, all coronavirus infections in Vietnam are from overseas.

Many Vietnamese people traveled thousands of kilometers from different parts of India to gather in New Delhi for the repatriation flight.

The upcoming repatriation flights will help roughly 2,000 people fly home.

Two thirds of the returnees are pregnant women.
