So far, Vietnam has licensed three kinds of Covid-19 vaccines for emergency use.

For vaccines validated by the WHO for emergency use, the ministry would need only five working days to process the import request.

The made-in-China vaccine would be administered to Chinese nationals working in Vietnam, Vietnamese people studying and working in China, and inhabitants who live near China.

The ministry said about eight million doses of Covid-19 vaccine will arrive in Vietnam in July.
