The agricultural sector aims for an export turnover of US$45 billion next year.

The European Commission has recognized Vietnam’s progress in combating IUU fishing in terms of legal matters, seafood origin, and boat tracking.

Vietnam said the cooperation will promote effective and sustainable fisheries management in accordance with international law.

The aim is to lift the yellow card imposed by the European Commission on Vietnam’s fishing industry in 2023.

The EU is keen to foster collaboration with Vietnam across various sectors, with a strong emphasis on the green economy.
