On National Day September 2nd, a 5.44km sea bridge, part of Tan Vu-Lach Huyen Highway in the northern port city of Hai Phong, was put into operation, becoming the longest sea bridge in Vietnam and one of the longest of its kind in Southeast Asia.

The Vietnam Stage Artists Association held a ceremony at Hanoi Opera House, on October 1, to mark its 60th anniversary (1957 – 2017) and Vietnam Stage Day (the 12th day of the eighth lunar month).

From October 6 to 8, more than 100 pavilions will be set up at the Vietnam seafood and tra fish (pangasius) fair, the first of its kind, to be held in Hanoi, as announced by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD) at a press brief this morning, September 8.

Trang An landscape complex has met the criteria of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisations (UNESCO) on outstanding universal values of World Heritage, for this reason, the complex has been officially recognized as a World Cultural and Natural Heritage.
