Russian Prime Minister Dimitry Medvedev has highlighted prospects for cooperation between his country and Vietnam in an interview granted to Vietnamese media ahead of his official visit to the nation from April 5-7.

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, has named five Vietnamese hotels among top 25 best hotels for service in the world.

Vietnamese luxury hotel The Reverie Saigon has topped the list of “11 hotels opening in 2015 that we cannot wait to check into”, said CNN.

The Yakasa-Saigon-Nha Trang Hotel in Nha Trang city, the central coastal province of Khanh Hoa, has set a new record for its giant-sized traditional Tet cake, which is 40 metres in length, as part of the activities to celebrate the Lunar New Year.

The Asian Development Bank (ADB) has provided Vietnam with two loans totalling US$165 million to improve secondary education for ethnic minority students in the country’s poorest areas, and upgrade rural infrastructure in six central provinces.
