Longest expressway opens for public
The 245km Noi Bai-Lao Cai expressway, the longest and most modern of its kind in Viet Nam, was opened for public
The expressway is expected to help shorten travel time from Ha Noi to Lao Cai from the current 7 hours to only 3.5 hours.
It is part of the Kunming-Hai Phong Transport Corridor and falls under the Greater Mekong Subregion (GMS) cooperative program linking Viet Nam, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, and China.
